TOPPS has a variety of learning programs for children ages 6 to 18. Most of our programs are free to all participants and space is provided on a first come, first served basis. To apply for any of our programs, please fill either fill out our online application, or download a PDF of our application, which can be printed, filled out and mailed to:

Little TOPPS

Little TOPPS hosts our K-3 after-school program where students receive help with homework, tutoring in math and reading and a healthy dinner and snack.

Teen Program

Students in grades 4-12 receive homework help, tutoring and healthy meals at our 21st Century Community Learning Center.

Mentoring

We offer three youth mentoring programs that link young people to adults of character who teach life skills, social skills, self-empowerment, self-respect, community service and more:
• Beginning Steps for girls ages 8-12
• Changing Steps for young women ages 13-18
• Moving Forward for young men ages 8-18

DREAMS

Dreams (Dreams Require Educating and Motivating Students) is our college enrichment program created for at-risk students in grades 10-12 to help them graduate from high school and enroll in college.
Students perform community service, have travel opportunities and participate in activities that inform them about college requirements, admission and financial aid.

Job Training

TOPPS accepts five high school students each year into its youth job training program at TOPPS Graphics, one of the leading custom design shops in Pine Bluff. Students commit to working 10 hours a week and receive a small stipend while unleashing their creativity and learning valuable skills for running a small business.

Summer Learning

Children entering grades 1 through 12 are eligible for our summer camp program which includes daily physical fitness, field trips, fun activities such as bowling and archery and hands-on academic support for math, reading and science.

NOTE: To help cover some of the expenses, families are asked to pay $60/week per child. Sliding scale fees and scholarships are available for families in need. For more information, call camp coordinator Jordan Simms at 870.850.6011.

TOPPS Food

Families who need help stretching their budget can receive emergency baskets of food and household supplies at TOPPS’ headquarters once a month. Meant to provide 8 meals for a family of four, baskets include vegetables, fruit, cereal, rice, potatoes peanut butter, chicken, turkey and beef. Light bulbs, hand sanitizer, soap and other toiletries are also often included.

HOURS: 2nd Tuesday of the month, 10 am until baskets run out

 

NOTE: Baskets are provided on a first come, first served basis. You don’t need to register or fill out any application—just come to our drive-through line in the parking lot of TOPPS headquarters where volunteers will place baskets into cars until supplies run out. TOPPS is proud to partner with the Arkansas Food Bank and the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance to ensure children and families have access to healthy food throughout the year.
